Another short luteal phase

My temps took a dive today which means that I will expect AF to knock on my door very soon.

Nothing I'm doing is making much difference to my cycles so I'm starting to resign myself to the fact that I may have to go and see a specialist. I really didn't want to. I wanted to resolve this naturally - but it just doesn't seem to be happening.

I'm going to try ONE more cycle on my own doing everything I can to increase fertile cervial mucus and extend my luteal phase.

I did notice that vitamin b6 was still the most efficient at extending my luteal phase by a day or two so I'll start taking that again.

I'm also going to clean up my diet and try to get back to just natural foods rather than junk or prepackaged foods.

Obviously from my cycles I have quite low progesterone as well. I'm not sure what you can do naturally to increase progesterone - most of the creams require a prescription. I have heard eating yams helps, but I don't know where to get them here in Australia.

I'll do some more research on the matter...

Hi there,i just read your story and i have been taking Chaste Berry tablets for about 3 months now... Apparently it helps balance your hormones, helping your Oestrogen and progesterone levels to regulate. Why not try it ?

Hi Anon,

I've been on and off Vitex (chaste berry) for over twelve months now and they don't seem to work for me in regulating my hormones.

I know other people have better luck, but it seems they don't work for everyone.

Good luck with your ttc journey!

Tracey how about trying the Vitex ONLY in your LP?

For baby number 2 I am going to try Pregnancy Prep.

Anyone else?
